Automated Emails Sent to Free Trial Users

When a new user signs up for MyBudgetCoach with a free trial they will be sent a series of emails. These emails will be tailored over time based on the user's engagement level. The engagement levels we are tracking currently are:

  • No Password Set (they haven't logged in for the first time yet)
  • Password Set (they have logged in at least once)
  • Avatar Introduction Completed (they have completed the first conversation and filled out the feedback form at the end of the conversation)
  • Unknown (we aren't sure the level of engagement)

Note the purple text in the body of some of the following emails won't show for users. Gmail shows purple text for duplicate copy from a previous email in the same thread. These screenshots were taken back to back as emails to the same test account, thus the purple text.

Day 0

All users get the same email within a few minutes of signing up. After this first email the variations start based on engagement level.
